FREEZIN FOR A REASON - JANUARY 2, 2010
FREEZIN FOR A REASON- CHILL OUT 2010! NRG Media Northwoods will be hosting the 3rd annual “Freezin for a Reason” to benefit Children’s Miracle Network! The CHILL OUT will be held at the Thirsty Whale on Lake Minocqua, Saturday, January 2, 2010. Registration will be from 11am-1pm with the plunge starting at 2pm. NEW this year, NRG Media will also have a live stream of “Freezin for a Reason” on their website www.nrgnorthwoods.com/northwoods so you can enjoy the plunging even if you are unable to attend! To take part, all potential jumpers are required to raise a minimum of $35.00 in pledges. Pledge forms will be available at the Thirsty Whale in Minocqua, at the NRG Media offices in Minocqua and Rhinelander and the CMN website www.cmnwi.org. Call 715.362.1975 for more information.

CMN Bake Sale
The annual Children's Miracle Network bake sale and cookie walk will take place on Wednesday, December 16 in the Four Seasons Cafeteria at Saint Joseph's Hospital. While baking your traditional holiday treats, consider creating a few extra dozen and donate them to help sick and injured children. Baked goods can be brought to Children's Miracle Network office on Tuesday, December 15 or directly to the sale on Wednesday.

Junion Photography Holiday Photo Promotion
Just in time for the holidays, parents will have the opportunity to have a professional portrait taken of their child(ren) while supporting sick and injured children in our area. Junion Photography in Schofield is offering parents a free fifteen minute-portrait session and 14” traditional portrait ($395 value) with their $100 contribution to Children’s Miracle Network. Proofs will be available immediately following the portrait session, and all photos are guaranteed before the holiday season. Interested parents can book their photo session by calling Junion Photography at 715-355-1228. Sessions will take place on November 16, 17 & 18. Time slots fill quickly, so call today to set up an appointment to capture a memory forever.

Vote for the Cutest Photo and benefit CMN!
Cutie Pie Photo Studio in Schofield is holding a Cutest Photo Contest for the month of September to benefit Children's Miracle Network! Photos will be posted on line and you can place your vote for the cutest photo for a $1 donation to CMN. Visit www.cutiepiephoto.com to view photos and vote while helping to support sick and injured children here in central Wisconsin.

WYTE Radiothon!
Listen to 106.5 WYTE September 9, 10 and 11 for the 7th annual Children's Miracle Network Radiothon! Broadcasting live from the Mother Frances Streitel Conference Center at Saint Joseph's Hospital, WYTE's Mark and Ben will be interviewing pediatric patients and their families who have benefitted from CMN. Tune in or stop by the conference center to hear these inspiring stories and make a one time or monthly pledge, September 9 & 10 from 6am-6pm and September 11 from 6am-Noon. As always, thank you for making a difference in the lives of local kids!

Become A Change Angel!
Change a child’s life with your spare change! During the WYTE Radiothon to benefit Children’s Miracle Network 106.5 radio will be sponsoring the Change Angels program. Change Angels are individuals who volunteer to collect spare change from around the house, their desk at work, in the car…and even from friends and family! Change Angels receive a kit that includes a donation box and goodies to get started with. All Change Angels will be eligible to receive one of several prizes. If you would like to help raise money to support sick and injured kids here in central Wisconsin by being a Change Angel, contact the CMN office at 715.387.7358. Don’t forget to tune in to 106.5 WYTE on September 9, 10 and 11 to listen live to Mark and Ben interview area children who have benefited from your donations!

Polar Bear Jump - January 1, 2010
Start collecting your pledges now for POLAR BEAR JUMP 2010!! This 'cool' event will be New Year's Day, January 1, 2010 and is generously hosted by The Lure Bar & Grill in Nekoosa, with on site hot tubs provided by the Pool People.
