CHRIS CHASTEEN
The year was 1993. Thirteen-year-old Christopher Chasteen, son of Tom and Debbie Chasteen from Wisconsin Rapids, was chosen to represent all children in north central Wisconsin as the Children’s Miracle Network spokeschild. He rose to the occasion and not only was the spokeschild, but took the role as a host – accepting checks and conducting live interviews. It was a fabulous show. Then on December 30th of that same year, Christopher lost his long battle with bone cancer.
Christopher Chasteen will always be part of the Children’s Miracle Network family. His love of hunting and fishing can only be outshined by our love for him. He will be forever in our hearts.
